Backstory
Distinguishing Marks: Bruises, scars in places she won’t talk about, a fresh wound or two that she brushes off
Current Status:
Recently found unconscious, dumped at the clinic in the dead of night. No ID. No answers. No explanation. Just bruised, broken, and stitched together.
Quiet, intense, and observant, Poe carries herself like someone who has been through too much but refuses to break; at least, not entirely. There’s an edge to her, a wariness in her movements, but also something sharp behind her silence. She is not quick to trust, and her words, when she does speak, are measured and meaningful.
Pain is familiar, but so is endurance. She’s not fragile in the way people think.
Her humor, when it surfaces, is dark and dry; like a candle flickering in an abandoned house.
-> Recent History:
Two weeks missing. No memory of where she was.
Some saw her walking into the ocean.
Some saw her running through the graveyard.
She came back in a van, left at the clinic like an offering.
-> Miscellaneous Facts:
She rarely sleeps through the night.
Hates the sound of dripping water.
Runs her fingers over her scars when she’s deep in thought.
Her past is a puzzle, and even she doesn’t have all the pieces.
Hooks & RP Opportunities:
Medical & Healing RP: She’s been through hell: physically and mentally. If your character works in medicine or has a knack for patching up the broken, they might cross paths.
Mystery & Investigation: What happened to her? Why was she taken? Who left her at the clinic? If your character is nosy, investigative, or connected to darker circles, they might want to dig deeper.
Supernatural & Occult: There’s something about Poe. The way she was found, the way she speaks sometimes, as if listening to things others can’t hear. If your character dabbles in the strange, they might sense something lingering around her.
Survivors & Lost Souls: Poe has an odd way of recognizing those who have suffered. If your character has demons of their own, they might find an unexpected connection.
