Jack Deckard grew up in Bend, Oregon, as the only child of a retired forest ranger father and a dedicated elementary school teacher mother. His love for medicine blossomed after volunteering as a teenager in local wilderness first-aid programs. He later earned his medical degree from the University of Washington and completed his residency in Boston. He specialized in cardiology and emergency medicine and recently moved to Woodcrest, to pursue new opportunities.
