Mei Soo was adopted and raised in Portofino, California, where her talent for the arts - especially photography - was evident from an early age. Her childhood though, was unsettled; her family moved often as her parents relationship fractured. After their divorce, Mei found stability with her mother and grandmother, who nurtured both her creativity and her resilience.

In high school on the Florida coast, Mei’s artistry flourished. She discovered a passion for photography and design, and began building a presence as a fashion and travel influencer. Her eye for beauty and storytelling earned her a loyal following, even as she graduated with top honors.

After graduation, Mei took time to explore the world and herself. Her travels led her to Japan in search of her biological parents. Though the search yielded no answers, it gifted her something equally valuable: a circle of friends who became like family, teaching her independence, connection, and the joy of carving her own path.

Now, as she finds herself at Woodcrest, Mei is ready for her next chapter. She aims to refine her craft, embrace new creative horizons, and explore the possibilities that lie around every corner - carrying forward the spirit of resilience and discovery that has defined her journey so far.
