Demi Ann was conceived and born at a commune in rural Colorado to Demeter Dionysus one of the leaders and Nicholas Karras a then dropped out college student who was lured by weed and women. After some years and the deaths of several of her family members Demeter in her grief began a takeover of the commune and guided it more towards a cult like organization when Demi Ann was very young. Her father then left and restarted his life in the outside world marrying and started a family whilst Demi Ann remained in her mother's matriarchal cult which relocated to Idaho. The cult then adopted several conspiracy theories into it's dogma and took an anti government turn, which attracted the attention of said government and during a raid to retrieve stolen bomb making materials Demi Ann's mother detonated a device, unknown if intentional or not, and blew herself up.

Demi Ann having witnessed her mother's death at the age of 13 was for a time sent to psychological institute for therapy while the authorities attempted to locate her father, who then took custody and was raised by him, her step mother with her step and half siblings who tried to help her fit in however Demi Ann had issues adjusting to teen life and high school, gratefully when the pandemic occurred during her the end of her junior year and kept her going to school virtually until she graduated. Attended some community college but only took a few certification courses for some jobs. IQ higher than average but possesses little motivation or work ethic, unsure of what she wants to do, upon inheriting some money from a relative last year decided to travel, but cannot decide where to and has only managed to get as far as California so far.

After hanging out in California, her father pulled some strings and got her into a New England university that he attended and lured her there with the tales of wild alcohol and drug infused orgies and all sorts of mayhem that occurred there 'Back in the day'. As she begins her revitalized college journey there to figure out if the stories were true or if he was just blowing smoke up her ass as he usually does.
