Backstory

Plume was a quiet young woman, almost a shadow, newly enrolled at Woodcrest University in the United States. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, she carried with her the natural grace of the northern plains, though her beauty was considered "ordinary" where she came from. With her platinum hair brushing her shoulders and her heterochromatic eyes—one a deep sapphire blue, the other a radiant emerald green—she possessed a subtle yet undeniable charm.

Plume was never truly alone. Since childhood, she could always count on her older sister, Charelle, just one year her senior. Together, they formed an inseparable duo. Charelle was the calm strength that guided Plume, the one who made decisions when uncertainty paralyzed her younger sister. Plume wasn’t lacking in will, but her need to be accompanied made her seem almost childlike, hardly taller than a schoolgirl despite standing at five foot three. She was often seen following Charelle with a soft, timid grace, as if afraid of getting lost without her.

From an early age, Plume had found solace in two passions that shaped a crucial part of her identity: sports and writing. Gymnastics and dance filled her days, allowing her to channel her energy and perfect her body through graceful movements. But it was in writing that she truly found herself. The pages of her notebooks were filled with tales of love and fantastical worlds, where mysterious elves wandered through enchanted forests and grand adventures awaited the brave. These stories were her escape, her way of giving life to the emotions she found difficult to express otherwise.

When she left Sweden to pursue her studies at Woodcrest, America, she did so with a knot in her stomach. The university application process had been riddled with challenges, each step amplifying her discomfort in this loud, unfamiliar world. But now she found herself there, immersed in the fast-paced life of university, surrounded by bold, confident personalities who seemed to navigate with an ease she could only envy. Every day, Plume wondered if she would manage to overcome her anxiety, break free from the silence that enveloped her, and talk to the strangers around her, despite her best intentions.

Yet, beneath her delicate appearance, Plume harbored a precious sensitivity. She much preferred a cup of tea and a good book over the wild student parties. She was the embodiment of gentleness and care, always concerned for others, even in her loneliest moments. As she moved forward in this new chapter of her life, a silent challenge stood before her: could she open up ? find her place in a world that seemed to move so quickly ? while she preferred to lose herself in the daydreams of her stories ?
