Backstory
Originating from the sunny hills of Orange County, California, Rosalina grew up in a life of privilege. As an only child, she never had to share her parents' attention with anyone. Her father, a corporate lawyer, was more of an urban legend in the house than an actual presence. Rosalina’s mother was a socialite who spent most of her days doting on her daughter or downing a bottle of wine. During her childhood, Rosalina’s mother often entered her in beauty pageants with all of her spare time. The shimmer of sequins and glitter sparked her adoration for fashion.
When college applications came around, she followed one of her closest friends across the country to Woodcrest University in North Carolina, where she declared a major in Fashion. While attending school, she threw herself into extracurriculars; she created and ran a sorority, joined and sang alongside The Sex Pixels, and adopted all of the stray cats she could find.
After graduating and returning home, she felt as though she stepped into a time machine. Although she adored fashion, she felt as though she was holding herself back. In need of a challenge, and to prove something to her father, she decided to study law. Doubting that she had the ability to be cut-throat as a lawyer needs to be, her father was not convinced. After a few days of pleading, he relented and agreed to pay her tuition for her to get her Juris Doctorate.
Now, she finds herself back at Woodcrest carrying case law books in the familiar halls she once bounced through carelessly.
