The Anchor

I grew up in Willowridge, a quiet town about half an hour from Woodcrest. My mother teaches at an elementary school and my father runs a small auto shop. I was always the quiet one, preferring books and math problems to big crowds. Numbers made sense to me in a way people sometimes didn’t. Now at university, majoring in math, I'm learning to live on my own for the first time. I'm reserved but kind, slowly finding my place on campus and discovering there’s more to life than routines, equations, and the comfort of home.
