Backstory
Born into a well-off, image-conscious family, Asher grew up learning how to perform—not just on stage, but in life. His mother works in public relations, smoothing over scandals and managing corporate reputations. His father is a finance lawyer, who was physically present but emotionally absent. Asher learned early how to play the role everyone wanted from him, whether that meant being the good son, the golden boy, or the next big thing in the local music scene.
In high school, he found his escape in music, fronting small bands and releasing tracks under different names. By the time he was 18, he had a minor online following and a growing pile of offers from people who wanted to package him up and sell him off. He saw what the industry looked like from the inside—and it burned him out before it made him famous.
Woodcrest was a compromise: a prestigious university that his parents could brag about, but far enough from home to let him breathe. He chose Media Studies and Communications because it felt like a joke; a way to study the system that chews people up while still technically "doing something with his life."
