Not many know Roro's backstory, and for good reason. She came from the "hood" in New York, raised by her mother who had multiple other children, dated too many men to keep up the count, and through running around the streets with her friends, she finally met Hecate during a spring break trip one of her friends happened to take her on. Hecate took her breath away, they ended up becoming best friends, then lovers and then married at the ripe age of 19. Moving to Woodcrest was their way of escaping the hold their families tried to have over their life choices, and now they are building a life of their own, along with RoRo's boyfriend Xavier, whom she met through Stiles, Hecate's now fiance.

She also studies witchcraft and natural healing remedies.
