Odessa was Born and raised in sunny southern California. But her life was not all sunshine and rainbows. Her mother moved her all over the state as she pursed and failed multiple marriages. As a teenager Odessa vowed to prioritize her future over romance. Odessa Knew at a young age that she wanted to study literature and futher her writing capabilities.

To acheive these goals, Odessa worked hard in school to get good grades and had a job at the local frosty in the summer times. She saved all that money so she could afford to go to a good college and not live in the dorms. Any time that wasn't spent studying, and working she was writing in her notebook. It was easy to get lost in a fantasy world that she had created. She didn't have many friends, and she fell away from most of them because she didn't go to parties like normal teenagers did.
It wasn't that she didn't want to be outgoing, she was just exhausted from moving all the time and making new friends and falling out with the old friends at the same time.

Everything was about to change since she was moving this time, across country for herself, for her education. She was excited and this was definitely going to be different. Odessa promised herself to branch out and meet new friends and embrace university life. She would finally escape her mother's very dark shadow.
