Samantha Roseride (Sam) was born in the middle Sutton, West Virginia. Pretty much a small quiet town that never gets anything exciting running through it. But, for Sam it was a wonderland in itself to be in. The town itself wasn't all that great, but the woods is where she was always found. It was the only place she felt truly herself. Though on her uncles ranch it was a place where she felt like she could always have the most fun. School wasn't the best for Sam, she always tried her best, but when it came to math it wasn't her strong suit. Due to Sam being so young and having ADHD she could never focus in class. But, when a teacher by the name Mrs. Reynolds came into Sam's life she changed everything. Mrs. Reynolds taught Sam almost everything that she knew about her school subjects. It had gotten to the point to where Mrs. Reynolds actually became Sam's private teacher.

Soon as Sam hit high school, she didn't really know what she wanted to do. Though she was really good with English and History, she couldn't see herself being something that involved those two subjects. But, when the time came to choosing a career path, Mrs. Reynolds made a suggestion that made Sam's life completely do a 360. Becoming an Environmental/ Wildlife Biologist, though she enjoys camera work she decided to add in her photography skills into the mix.

Once she had graduated high school, Sam's parents wanted her to go to WVU so that she can stay in the state. Seeing that Sam had an explorative mind she didn't want to stay in West Virginia, so when she saw Woodcrest it was a go for her. So, she packed up her things and headed out with positivity and a hopeful mindset.
